Poetry #3 Half Moon Bay

Half Moon Bay

Half Moon Bay

Firm sand

stepping softly

footprints snatched

sun spangled sea

beckons

beyond

Crabs create

bleached

dot paintings

claws scuttle down dark holes

glass bodied jellyfish

stranded

Grit clings

shells dry

seagulls cry

fish die

plastic passes

beyond

Beyond grey horizon

warm clouds blanket

grey sea

dark islands beckon

beyond

            beyond

                         beyond

  1. thanks Christine, the light is not only on the picture; it’s there in your beautifully light touch of images. It’s … I can see those dot paintings and the scuttling and the glass bodies… I love this.

    1. Thanks, Shelley, Cleaning up old notebooks – every time I look at these jotting I change then – just fun messin’ around with words – a bit like boats:-)
